Meet Dr. William Moll

Dr. William Moll represents the newest generation of oral and maxillofacial surgeons at Northwest Oral Surgeons, bringing advanced training and fresh perspectives to the practice. After earning his BA in Biology from Indiana University in 2009 and his DDS from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2014, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors fraternity, Dr. Moll pursued extensive postgraduate training. He completed a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, followed by a comprehensive four-year residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System.


Dr. Moll has developed significant expertise in full mouth reconstruction of severely compromised dentition through bone and soft tissue grafting, traditional dental implant placement, and complex zygomatic implant reconstruction. His training in the full and expanded scopes of oral and maxillofacial surgery includes orthognathic surgery for dentofacial deformities and both surgical and non-surgical treatment modalities for temporomandibular disorders. His extensive training in office-based anesthesia enables him to provide personalized, patient-centered care during complex procedures that might otherwise cause significant stress or anxiety.


A member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Dental Association, and the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, Dr. Moll maintains professional excellence through continuous education and collaboration. He resides in Munster with his wife Alysha, who maintains a general dentistry practice in Hammond, and their two dogs, Millie and Leo. An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Moll enjoys CrossFit, weightlifting, and golf, while cheering for the Indiana Hoosiers, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Cubs.
